Training & Qualifications
In total, Jonathan has more than 8 years of formal training and over 10 years of clinical experience as an acupuncturist, herbalist and massage therapist. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Sydney), a Diploma of Shiatsu Therapy (Sydney) and a Diploma of Remedial Massage (Sydney).
In addition, Jonathan completed a one year clinical internship in China where he had the opportunity to work with master practitioners of Chinese medicine.
At Guangzhou Acupuncture & Herbs, Jonathan uses a full range of traditional Chinese medicine techniques including: acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, and dietary and exercise advice. Read more about the benefits of each of these treatment techniques.

Jonathan is registered by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) to practice acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese herb dispensing. CMBA is a division of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency's (AHPRA) and is the federal government agency responsible for assessing and accrediting acupuncturists and Chinese herbal practitioner. You should only receive acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from a CMBA registered practitioner.
Jonathan is also a full member of the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) as both an acupuncturist and herbalist. AACMA is the peak professional body for qualified Chinese medicine pracitioners in Australia.
